The Founding
Krishna Diamond began as a small Surat polishing unit, cutting lab-grown rough to order for exporters who put their own brand on the finished stone. It was steady work and it meant learning exactly what separates a good cut from a merely acceptable one.
Under director Kakshil Sutariya, the unit began keeping back its best-cut stones instead of shipping every parcel out. Krishna Diamond, the retail house, grew directly out of that decision: if the cutting floor already knew how to judge a stone properly, there was no reason to hand that judgement to someone else's shop.
What Hasn't Changed
Rough is chosen for how it will cut, not how much it weighs. It's a slower, costlier way to buy and it's non-negotiable.
A single karigar sees a commission from wax to polish. Nothing is split across a production line to save a day.
Every diamond over 0.30ct ships with independent IGI or GIA paperwork matched, not just mentioned.
Our Mission
We want every customer to walk out knowing exactly what they bought the cut grade, the clarity, the certificate number not just how the piece looked under boutique lighting. Growing the diamonds ourselves and cutting them ourselves is how we keep that promise at a price a natural stone can't match.
Our Vision
We'd rather take longer on a commission and get the carat, colour and setting exactly right than rush ten orders out the door. That's why viewings are capped at two a day it's the only way we can give each customer our actual attention.
Our Values
If a stone has a visible inclusion, we say so before you find it under a loupe yourself.
Every piece is traceable to the cutter who faceted it and the karigar who set it.
Lab-grown by design the same carbon, grown above ground instead of mined below it.
Cleaning, resizing and re-polishing are free for the life of the piece, not just the first year.
Our Journey
Krishna Diamond opens as a lab-grown polishing unit in Varachha, Surat, cutting rough for export houses.
Krishna Diamond starts selling direct the first pieces to carry our own name instead of a private label.
Every stone above 0.30ct starts shipping with independent IGI certification as standard, not an upsell.
